Nottingham Academy has an annual careers programme, providing pupils with opportunities to experience the world of work, to learn about opportunities and to attend local and national careers and skills events.

We assess the impact of our careers programme on our students by using the COMPASS+ tool on an annual basis, which aligns our strategy with the 8 Gatsby Benchmarks for good careers provision.

We also analyse student destination data to ensure positive pathways and inform the planning and continuous improvement of our Careers Programme.

Nottingham Academy is also working towards the Quality in Careers Standard, which will require a rigorous re-assessment every 2 years.

The programme is reviewed continuously using these methods with a full annual review taking place at the end of each academic year.

The next date for review is July 2025.
