Nottingham Academy is set to host its highly anticipated Careers Fair on Monday, April 29th. Students in Years 9-13 will be attending throughout the day allowing them to ask key questions about their futures.

Parents are invited from 3:15pm to 5:00pm (Greenwood Road Site, accessible via the Ripon Road Entrance). 

The event promises to be a fantastic platform for students to explore a range of opportunities in further education, higher education, apprenticeships, training, and employment.

The fair boasts an impressive lineup of providers from various sectors, including esteemed institutions, organisations, and employers.

Amongst the attendees are representatives from the NHS, RAF, Army, Navy, and Nottingham Fire Service, offering insights into careers in public service and healthcare.

Students with aspirations in sport will have the chance to interact with representatives from Nottingham Forest and Pro Direct Academy: Football.

Meanwhile, those interested in pursuing higher education can engage with prestigious universities such as Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham University, University of Leicester, University of Lincoln, De Montfort University, Loughborough University, and Bishop Grosseteste University.

The fair will also feature stalls from Bilborough College, Confetti, Think Forward, NCS (National Citizen Service) and Into University providing valuable guidance on educational pathways and career prospects.

Local businesses and industry leaders will also be present, including Specsavers, Ideagen, Nottingham City Council, Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing, Aarsleff, Train'd Up, Building Future Leaders, and Automate Best, showcasing diverse career options and potential pathways for students.
