Supporting Disadvantaged and SEND Pupils
Our focus on supporting disadvantaged pupils has led to promising outcomes. The gap between disadvantaged pupils and their peers has improved by 24 Progress 8 points, reducing from -0.80 to -0.56, compared to the national average of -0.57. This is an encouraging step towards closing the gap further, and we'll continue prioritising this group.
Our SEND pupils have also made remarkable progress, with their Progress 8 score improving by 23 points, moving from -0.62 to -0.39, which is better than the national average of -0.62. We remain dedicated to further supporting these students.
